This project was created in 2021 and 2022 and never launched. No mint took place. No funds were collected and nothing here is for sale. The text below is preserved as it was originally written.
Every warrior is built from 132 individual assets across eleven layers, enough for more than 89 billion possible combinations. All 3,333 were generated in January 2022, each one unique. Everything was finished except the mint.
The movement
On 1 February 2021, the Myanmar military staged a coup and seized control of the country. Millions of people immediately rose up in peaceful protest, but were met with violence and brute force from the illegitimate Junta.
The 3 Finger Salute has come to symbolize resistance to authoritarian regimes and our 3 Finger Salute NFTs honor the heroes and warriors who fight for freedom. We want the Junta and the world to know that the people of Myanmar will not give up until democracy has been restored.

Our masks are inspired by various ethnic groups such as Kachin, Karen, Kayah and Chin and represent the times - face masks to protect against Covid and gas masks for peaceful protesting.

The 3 Finger Salute is our way of demonstrating solidarity with our fellow citizens and resistance to the coup. Our warriors come from all walks of life - artists, students, medical professionals, etc.

Our clothing is inspired by the wide variety of people taking part in the movement and representing symbols of key moments during the coup - banging of pots and pans, support for CDM (civil disobedience movement) and Myanmar's leader - Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, among others.

Charity
60% of mint fees will be directly donated to We Pledge CDM and the NUG's Ministry of Health (MoH), Ministry of Women, Youths and Children Affairs (MoWYCA) and Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management (MoHADM). 100% of all profits will be donated as well.
DAO and NFTs
All verified holders will have access to our DAO, where we will vote on donations and provide exclusive project updates. From time to time we will airdrop NFTs from our artists and we will also be partnering with other projects so that holders can be eligible for white list spots and NFT giveaways, among others.

Donations
All profits from mint and secondary sales will be donated. Frequency and amounts to be determined and voted on by our DAO.
NB: We will make every effort to sell out the collection 100%, but if we don't we will evaluate the scope and/or feasibility of building out the Metaverse. If we are unable to do so, all profits from funds raised will be donated.

We Pledge CDM
40% of mint fees are allocated for development - including work to date plus building a "Metaverse." We will plan the scope of Metaverse build based on the funds raised, any funds remaining at the end of the project will be donated to local organizations. In the event we do not sell out and feel that we have not raised enough to build a Metaverse, we will donate all funds left, minus any project costs to date.
Who is the National Unity Government (NUG)?
The Interim National Unity Government (NUG) of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar is the only and legitimate Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar formed by the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) with the authority bestowed by the People's mandate of the all parties' democratic election held in 2020 in discussion with National Unity Consultative Council. The Interim National Unity Government will implement the goal, objective and steps of the political road map as prescribed in Part I of the Federal Democracy Charter in discussion with National Unity Consultative Council. Interim National Unity Government shall be accountable to Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw. (taken from NUG website)
The team
We are a collective of filmmakers and digital artists specializing in 2D and 3D design. At this time in Myanmar, people from the creative community - artists, celebrities, actors, filmmakers, musicians etc. have been placed on Junta Blacklists for arrest. The Junta is doing everything they can to isolate the country and control the narrative, limiting internet access and shutting down all legitimate media and journalism. So at this time it is very dangerous for our team to reveal ourselves.
We know that trust is crucial in building our community and we are a certified official fundraiser of CRPH OFP program. Certification required application, multiple interviews, presentation of our project and doxxing (including providing passport copy).
The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) is a Myanmar legislative body, representing a group of National League for Democracy lawmakers and members of parliament ousted in the 2021 Myanmar coup d'etat. The CRPH established the Official Fundraisers Program (OFP) in April 2021, which helps connect various Myanmar fundraisers around the world to streamline donation collections and to effectively distribute funds to people in Myanmar. The OFP fundraisers interact with donors and fund recipients globally, collecting funds and sending humanitarian assistance to Myanmar directly.

What is the 3 Finger Salute?
The 3 Finger Salute originated in the film The Hunger Games and has been adopted by pro-democracy movements primarily in Asia (Hong Kong, Thailand and Myanmar, among others). Just weeks after the coup, Myanmar's Ambassador to the UN bravely took the floor, vowing "We will fight for a government which is of the people, by the people, for the people" before showing the 3 Finger Salute in solidarity with his fellow countrymen and countrywomen.
What is the significance of the 2021 coup?
The last military coup occurred in 1962 and was followed by nearly 60 years of military rule. During that time Myanmar went from a shining star in Southeast Asia to one of the poorest countries in the world. The Junta lined their own pockets with money from projects meant to benefit the country, while their people starved and plunged into poverty. Around 2013, the military announced a move to a more democratic government, even though they would still retain some power. They held the first democratic elections in 2015, won in a landslide by the National League for Democracy (NLD) party. Subsequently, during the period from 2013 - 2021, Myanmar experienced explosive growth and progress.
In the 2020 elections, the governing parties won another landslide election, but the military had other plans. If they couldn't legitimately win elections they decided they would just take over the government by force. So on February 1, the day the newly elected officials were set to take office, the military staged a coup, arresting and detaining officials under the dark of night. The people immediately rose up in peaceful protest, only to be met with brute force from a well-armed military.
1 year after the coup, the people continue to resist the illegitimate Junta, especially now that we have experienced freedom and economic prosperity. We refuse to go back to the Dark Days of military rule.
